AUTHENTIC GERMAN SMALLGOODS MADE THE TRADITIONAL WAY FOR OVER 70 YEARS

Schulte’s is a proud family owned and operated smallgoods business, based in the Lockyer Valley since 1952. Wolfgang Peter Schulte was an immigrant from Germany who trained as a master butcher before travelling to Australian shores. With his wife Sylvia he established the iconic “Schulte’s” business and raised 5 children.

Today son of Wolfgang, Peter, and wife Melinda, proudly manage the award winning and innovative business, still in the heart of the Lockyer Valley, still using the same family recipes and producing smallgoods the same traditional way. The business is now also joined by a 3rd generation of Schulte’s, distributing products Australia wide.

Our Mettwurst, Beersticks, Salami Sticks and Jerky are available at all independent retailers and at selected liquor outlets. Our smallgoods are available at all independent retailers across Australia.

Winners of Industry Excellence Awards

The Schulte’s Team were honoured to be awarded The Retail Excellence Award as well as the Processor Excellence Award for Queensland on 1st November 2014, at the AMIC Queensland gala dinner. These 2 awards are coveted amongst Queensland Independent butchers as setting the bench marks for the industry to keep striving.

Schulte’s has seen many changes in recent times with Peter Schulte taking over as General Manager to help steer this expanding business into it’s next phase of growth.

The entire team at Schulte’s are to be congratulated for taking on the challenge of change & working hard to raise their already high standards.
